ANU - Day 56

And I still haven’t gotten that guitar yet! Shameee.

Second half of the term break! Still plenty of work to get done. Finding the motivation to do it all is key.

Planning my Birthday party! Here’s hoping I don’t end up inviting more people than I promised. :P

Uhh…that’s all off the top of my head for the moment. Back to studying I go. :)

ANU - Day 40

Tiredddddddd

But that’s okay, I’m killing assignments (for the most part), earning monies and am (somehow) able to maintain a social life.

I could really do with a term break soon though.

Need to find time for myself, otherwise I’ll melt into a slush. D:

In other news, looking forward to buying a guitar within the next few weeks.

ANU - Day 22

A whole lot of massive stuff has happened past few days, and I’m having trouble keeping up with it all as it is. Studies, coast trip, that heck of an earthquake in Japan, and who knows what else.

Need to organize myself, and get more work done at the moment. Even my weekends are busy, and it isn’t always tertiary studies that take up my time.

ANU - Day 16

*flop*

Gonna keep today’s blog post short. I am juggling many things, and my arms are getting sore/tired. Not literally of course, though that would be pretty pro.

On the plus side, coast trip this weekend! :D

On the negative side, incoming assessment! D:

ANU - Day 15

Here come the hurdles!

Got impatient waiting for the bookstore at Uni to come up with the text (Using MIS, 3rd Edition by David M.Kroenke) I needed for InfoSystems, so I ordered it off Fishpond with an ETA arrival date between the 21st of this month til the 1st day of the next. That’s almost unacceptable, so if it’s not shipping soon I’ll need to find another place that sells the book, locally. Or perhaps get it from someone second-hand, that’d be nice too. :s

Everything else seems to be going smoothly, at least by appearence. English is still a read-fest, and those COMP classes don’t seem to be difficult at all so far. Only rough dealing today was having to adjust yet another tutorial once again. Seems as though this week will be more time-consuming than challenging.

Next semester I’m definitely going to have to put textbooks up on the list of stuff to get done ASAP for sure. >_>

That cuts it for today. Here’s hoping I can get that last “essential” textbook real soon.

ANU - Day 13

I seriously don’t have too much to say at the moment. xD

Did get my timetable finally sorted out, though. Now that I’ve figured out when my assessment is due, and when I’m meant to do it, I have an idea of when I’ll actually have some time to myself. Not to say I haven’t already been spending a lot of time to myself as it is already. >_>

Might also see about spending quality time with some sort of a decent hobby. Maybe I ought to pick up guitar, or try twittering some more. :P

Also can’t help but feel as though I’m forgetting to do a bunch of stuff at the moment. Those really annoy me, especially when they bite back when least expected.

That about does it for today.

ANU - Day 11

Aww, I was totally on a streak! Actually missed a day, kinda. :P

Mostly tutorials today. English looking as difficult as ever, now I understand why people think I’m nuts for doing it. I’ll just have to prove ‘em wrong I guess. As for my InfoSystems tutorial, it was basically everything I did in Microsoft Access back in Year 12.

Not sure if I’ll need an entry for tomorrow (today) since I won’t need to head to the ANU for the day, but I’ll see how it goes. xP

ANU - Day 10

Wooo, double digits!

By the looks of it, my elective course (English) is probably going to turn out to be the most challenging. InfoSystems and other IT courses seem to be simple enough, at least for the moment.

Finally got around to paying off some of my fees. Still need one more textbook, going to have to get that from the bookstore at Uni. Really beginning to wish the textbooks weren’t so costly though.

That’s really about it. With nothing but tutorials on Thursday and no reason to turn up on Friday (though odds are I’ll still have to study and whatnot) things are looking pretty easy…too easy. There’s going to be a bump in the difficulty somewhere I bet.

Making a U-turn on the highway to hell is a dangerous, yet rewarding task. Sure, you’re going to face oncoming traffic that will dislike and possibly hate you for it, but the road to salvation will pay off , especially upon reaching your destination.
